- R.L Stevenson in Queensferry and a fabulous bridge
With or without the 'Da Vinci Code' Rosslyn is a 15th century chapel and an architectural and artistic gem. A guided tour introduces you to the fascinating details and historical contexts followed by picnic lunch in the lovely chapel grounds.
In the afternoon a brief tour of Edinburgh is a good introduction to this cosmopolitan city - 'medieval 'Royal Mile', Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Castle, the Georgian New Town and Edinburgh's controversial new parliament building. We enjoy panoramic views from Calton Hill before we pass by the famous Forth Bridges spanning the impressive estuary of the River Forth.
Come and enjoy!
