Small Groups
We believe that travelling in a group of no more than 10 is perfect for our guests to fully enjoy their holiday and the company of similar minded folk. Discovering remote places, exploring romantic castles and prehistoric stone circles, taking a picnic on a lonely beach, boating to a mysterious island and enjoying warm Scottish hospitality in a pub or thriving whisky distillery becomes a personal, special and memorable experience.
Personal & Relaxing
We design walking holidays for those who enjoy nature and culture, warm hospitality and invigorating days outdoors - at a leisurely pace.We want to offer you the perfect holiday, relaxing, personal, interesting and full of treats.
Your Walking Team
Walk Wild Scotland was created by Antje Peters who is guiding walking holidays in Scotland since 1993. A seasoned traveller, she is a knowledgeable, experienced guide and enjoys sharing her love for Scotland's beauty with her visitors. She is supported by an enthusiastic team of equally outdoor inspired professionals and her trusting companion Jack, a well trained and fun loving border collie.

Discovery & Adventure
Stretch your legs on remote paths over mountain passes or along lonely beaches, feel the wind and sun on your face and let your soul be inspired by the beauty, peace and grandeur of the landscape surrounding you.
Walking & Culture
We like to infuse the outdoor experience of our walking tours with the cultural flavour of Scotland and introduce you to Scotland in the context of its lively historical and cultural heritage.
Take your time to 'smell the heather'
We believe in taking time to appreciate a wonderful view, relax over a delicious picnic, catch a boat to an island, cycle along the shores of a loch and exploring paths off the beaten track.
Level of Fitness
Our tours are designed at an easy - intermediate grade for people with a good basic level of fitness who exercise regularly and enjoy a little challenge and adventure.
The Environment & Sustainable Travel
Walking in the wild replenishes our souls and re-connects us with nature. Travelling in small groups and working with local businesses, we hope to share with our guests our concern for protecting our natural environment and our commitment to engage in a way of living which reduces our damaging impact on nature.
Personal & Flexible
We are focussed on providing excellent customer service with a personal and flexible approach to ensure that your holiday is a wholly enjoyable and memorable experience.
Discovery & Adventure
Walking is about discovering which is why we choose routes which introduce visitors to very special places in Scotland, with ever changing views across spectacular landscapes, peaks and glens - romantic paths off the beaten track which take you to longforgotten places, ancient ruined settlements and old trails used by cattle drovers in days gone by.
Scottish Nature, Wildlife & History
On the way, you can satisfy your curiousity about Scotland's wildlife, history and nature, about wild goats with spectacular horns, stories of local clans and their warfare or the story behind the coppiced oak forests along the shores of Loch Lomond and the people who lived in these forests not so long ago.
Day Trips
Generally, a day includes from 4 -6 hours walking, a delicious picnic and, because water is so much part of the scenery, a boat ride along the way and sometimes even a little island exploration (on Loch Lomond).
